What a fabulous time I had this last weekend! I was able to join my good buddies Jen, Heidi, Penny and Crystal for a MUCH NEEDED getaway. Penny was glorious enough to share her family cabin by Mirror Lake and it was the perfect retreat. Quiet, peaceful, snow falling gently outside the windows. And then there was the boisterous laughing, goody-munching, LATE hours up, scrapbooking and trying to dig the van out of a snowdrift. Thank heavens we saved enough Scotcheroos to bribe the next-cabin neighbor to yank the van out with his Bobcat. Aahh, memories. By the time we actually made it into the cabin covered in snow, our hair rivaled the beautiful styles of the 80's movie above! I've learned this about myself: I always knew I loved girls night out, but now I know I actually depend on them to survive. When's the next party, girls? You know I'm there! Miss you all already and next time, we'll stay twice as long......and we won't go in snow.....and we'll bring double the goodies......and I won't have to be pumping.....and.....when are we going again? Love you!

I too am so ready for the next get-away!! I had so much fun! And, yes I will not have to tote around a baby next time, even better:) It made me realize how much I miss you! You are so awesome. Sometimes I think, man, we really need Mary Ann around here. See ya soon!
I am so sad i had to miss it, but had a great anniversary. Sounds like you guys had a BLAST, van stuck in the snow and all! Hope to see you soon. Let me know the next time you are up this way!
